Team Member Roles

PI: Richard Mushotzky

PI R. Mushotzky is well regarded in the AGN and X-ray community and has extensive experience leading studies of the X-ray properties of AGN. He will direct and oversee the project and serve as an advisor to Post-doc T. Shimizu. Contribution to the proposed project will be 2 weeks per year.

Post-doctoral Associate: Thomas Shimizu

Post-doc T. Shimizu will lead the scientific effort for the proposed project. He will conduct all data reduction and analysis of the AGN light curves as well as managing the expected products. He will report to the PI on a weekly basis and as needed about the current progress of the project and seek guidance and direction from the PI. Post-doc T. Shimizu will also lead all publications that result from the project. Contribution to the proposed project will be a full 12 months per year.
