Some questions to investigate:  %%   \begin{enumerate}    \item What happens if an interior piece approaches the pore?    \item In \cite{http://adsabs.harvard.edu/abs/2013PhRvE..87d2723R} page 5, the case where DNA is perpendicular to $\vec E$ is discussed. The same procedure is suggested, where a transverse jet is constructed. The real situation will be some superposition of longitudinal and transverse jets, they claim. This may be true for quasi-static case where $T$ is higher than any differential drag; but won't one of the motions be unstable? I doubt this would affect anything.     \item   \end{enumerate}  %% askgs
