# Public opinion  There are many copies of On Liberty that exist. How do your devices and access methods influence which copies it is easiest for you to access? In my case, the first search result on Google comes from the [University of Adelaide](https://ebooks.adelaide.edu.au/m/mill/john_stuart/m645o/). It's where I was born. When I search using the engine "Duck Duck Go" I get different results. An Amazon ad is the first result, followed by the Wikipedia entry, followed by a result that has ads that depending on your search history will either be appropriate for sharing in a university or not. (in my case, because I choose to use ad blocking tools,  the ads are all blocked except for one that says I will win a prize if I click on it).
