The catchment area of the DNOS/CORSAN reservoir is located in the southern border of the plateau of the Paraná Sedimentary Basin, in the city of Santa Maria, state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil (Figure \ref{fig:location}). The Santa Maria dataset covers the northern sector of this catchment area – an area of \(\approx\)2000 ha, which corresponds to about 60% of the entire catchment area.
The Coordinate Reference System (CRS) adopted is defined by the WGS1984 datum with coordinates in degrees. When using the Universal Transverse of Mercator (UTM), the parameters are zone 22S, WGS1984 datum, central meridian 51, with the coordinates in metres.
