In order to design an optical filter, I included two additional MZI
Gain Responses (MZI6-MZI7) designs, with path length differences of $\Delta L = 120 \mu m$ and $\Delta L = 240 \mu m$, named MZI6 and MZI7 respectively. Figure \ref{fig:mzi6-7} shows the simulated gain responses of each MZI design considering fiber coupler, Y-branch models from the course and 3dB/cm propagation loss for the waveguides.
