\section{\textbf{Signficance of Current Techniques:}}  When Arthur Miller released The Crucible in 1953, the United States was amidst the Red Scare or the Communist hysteria. As a result of this hysteria, people who appeared to have connections to communism were persecuted both socially and legally. This hysteria is paralleled to the Salem witchcraft trials in 17th century New England as epitomized in Miller’s play. Miller used various rhetorical strategies in his writings to indicate the presence of a witch trial in the society. However, nowadays, such strategies would not lead to a solution of the hysteria. With that said, the above proposed solutions allow for connections directly to all the people as both a part of their upbringings and daily lifestyles.
