Pokemon Go: The New Tinder?

At this point you've probably read dozens of articles on how Pokemon go has taken over the world, how a woman in Wyoming found a dead body in the river while hunting for Pikachu, how the game is positively impacting those with mental health issues, how Pokemon are showing up in inappropriate and sometimes way too appropriate places. I want to highlight some interesting usage data I came across this weekend (when I wasn't trying to speed incubate Poke Eggs via Citbike).

You Won't Believe The Stats

According to data from SimilarWeb, Pokémon GO will likely surpass Twitter in number of Daily Active Users in just a few days (if not tomorrow)! Over 60% of those who have downloaded the app in the US are using it daily, meaning around 3% of the entire US Android population are users of the app.
