And secondly, you need tiny steps.
Telling myself: "I am going to go to the gym 3 times a week" does not work for me. It is just too much time that I commit and I have so many other interests, that I want to follow, too.

For me it is easier to say: "I am going to the gym right now." Then, I feel good every single time I make it.
And of course, I combine it with accountability: I tell my friends about it.

It is still important to have some big, long-term goals. But you need to know the next manageable steps to get there.

I need accountability so much, therefore I write for you. And now I am going to sign up for a city run. Tomorrow I will tell my friends about it!
