    Example dataset

    We obtained 13 risk SNVs in the example dataset that we used to illustrate the association methods. Out of these 13 risk SNVs, 8 were polymorphic in the case-control sample. We also found that 2630 of 4000 SNVs were polymorphic in the sample. Table 1 summarizes the physical distances, number of recombinations and minor allele frequencies (MAF) of these 13 risk SNVs in the example dataset.
