Ectopic pituitary adenoma (EPA) is a rare benign neoplasm defined by the
presence of hypophyseal tissue into the nasosinusal tract without any
connection with normal pituitary gland (1). The main localisation of EPA
is the sphenoid sinus. It represents more or less 70% of the location
(1). Other sites represent around 20% of the location. Nevertheless a
postero-septal localisation (or nasopharynx localisation) of the tumor
without a sphenoidal localisation seems to be rarer (2). The treatment
results in a total resection. According to our knowledge, we report here
the first movie of an EPA resection located on the postero-superior part
of the septum.
