Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) -associated vasculitis is a group of systemic small vessel vasculitis characterized by the detection of ANCA in serum, which mainly affects small vessels (arterioles, arterioles, venules, and capillaries)but may also have middle artery involvement.
