Abstract

In this note I will consider the general form of the argument from the knowability paradox, and what conditions it should meet to be philosophically relevant. I will then propose a version of the argument which I believe meets these conditions. The argument shows, I believe, that assumptions about ideal rationality, e.g., logical omniscience, are problematic since they imply actual omniscience.
