Langkawi, officially known as Langkawi the Jewel of Kedah (Malay: Langkawi Permata Kedah), is an archipelago of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea, some 30km off the mainland coast of north-western Malaysia. The islands are a part of the state of Kedah, which is adjacent to the Thai border. On 15 July 2008, Sultan Abdul Halim of Kedah had consented to the change of name to Langkawi Permata Kedah in conjunction with his Golden Jubilee Celebration. The Paradise Island in the north of the country, offers the best palm-and-beach resort options with sunbathing, swimming, watching monkeys and riding bicycles in the jungles.

Kuala Lumpur, officially the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, or more commonly called KL is the national capital of Malaysia as well as its largest city. Being rated as an Alpha world city, Kuala Lumpur is the only global city in Malaysia which covers an area of 243 km2 (94 sq mi) and has an estimated population of 1.73 million as of 2016.[7] Greater Kuala Lumpur, also known as the Klang Valley, is an urban agglomeration of 7.25 million people as of 2017. The capital and the biggest city of Malaysia, has lots to offer. A visit to Perdana Botanical Garden, Kuala Lumpur Bird Park (the zoo without a single cage, since the whole territory is covered with a net), downtown gardens with kids swimming pools, Petronas twin tower and local markets, is a must. There is plenty of greenery in Kuala Lumpur as it is home to some of the worlds largest bird and deer parks where entry is completely free. You can also visit I City Shah Alam to take some magnificient pictures of the nightly colourful displays of its LED lit attractions. The best time to visit Kuala Lumpuris between December to February and between May to August. This is because the weather during these months is comparatively drier than the rest of the months. However, I realised that there is a surge in the cost of hotels and flights during the dry weather season where as the tickets are quitre affordable during the other months. The best part about Kuala Lumpur is that since it is a multi cultural city you will come across a wide variety of choice when it comes to food. The restaurants here are generally known to offer non vegearian cuisines such as Nasi Lemak and Ikan Bakar.
