The following walks through a very simple Bayesian analysis exercise. There is plenty of material available on the theory and implementation of Bayesian statistics, some of it quite useful and articulate, such as \citet*{2006}. I'm mostly writing out this example as a way to play around with features in the Authorea environment. Please see the attached Jupyter-Notebook which performs the calculations and generates the figures.
