Abstract

The purpose of this article is to present the results of the conducted analysis, development of the ways to solve the identified problems, and the formation of methodological principles of logistics management of travel agency in the system of sustainable development the cities of Ukraine and Poland. The research methodology includes: historical method (to study the evolution of logistics concepts and their practical use in Ukraine and Poland); desk review (to study the latest theoretical and practical developments of the city logistics); system analysis (to determine the negative impact of strains in the logistic system of the city on the travel agency logistics); morphological analysis and field marketing research (to develop of the overall and corporate logistic systems). The system approach was used to outline and justify the set of methods for creating conditions for development of the flexible city logistic system. The proposed system will allow to effectively integrate into it logistics of individual businesses, including travel agencies, which ultimately will contribute to implement the strategy of sustainable development. Field study was conducted in 2014–2017 based on sample population of 126 tourism agencies’ managers by using PASW data processing.
