During the last years, the cycling activity has been increasing in Valdivia. For example, new bike paths by public initiatives, and various mobile applications that offers incentives for riding a bicycle. However, an important part of the inhabitants of Valdivia continue using cars to make short trips, especially in a city so small and centralized that needs to decongest its traffic and its "lungs". That is why we have designed the mobile application "Ubike", which allows a cyclist to do a favor to another user of the application. In this paper, the project is thoroughly detailed, besides, various techniques derived from the study of systems engineering are used to provide a solution. The main motivation behind the project is to help others using bicycles, promoting good environment in the community and good practices for others as for ourselves.
