Abstract
A new synthetic strategy has been developed for the insertion of a sulfur atom in artimisia herba alba essential oil matrix using an insitu reagent , in this work , we characterized the thionation reaction of artimisia herba alba essential oil in order to determine the mechanisms involved during the reaction using complementary analytica techniques , we proved the transfomartion of an oxo group to thioketone function, this method has an advantage that the reagent derived by product may be removed by a simple filtration.
