Submission of targets

There are two main methods for submitting FLOYDS targets:

1. Through the graphical user interface (GUI).

2. Programatically through an Application Programming Interface (API).

Here we only consider option 1, as it is the way that the majority of external users should submit targets. First, visit https://lco.global and go to the Observatory tab, and click Schedule Observations. Alternately, one may go directly to https://lco.global/observe. The user should login with the appropriate credentials if they have not already done so. Then click “Compose” from the top menu. A screen similar to Fig. \ref{fig:compose} should come up.
