Abstract
Abstract The project deals with optimization of the Electrical discharge machining of
AISI D2 Steel. Grey Taguchi method and fuzzy logic are used for optimization of
multiple quality characteristics. The optimal values obtained from two
optimization methods are compared and found to be non-dominant solutions. Mathematical
models are developed using Response surface methodology. ANOVA F test has been
conducted to test the accuracy of the regression equations and are found to be
in the acceptable limit.
