Abstract

In the rapidly evolving landscape of smart homes, the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies has become pivotal for enhancing efficiency and user experience. This review paper delves into the development and implementation of an advanced system designed to provide precise control and optimize energy consumption in smart appliances through the use of General Packet Radio Service (GPRS). The paper explores the significance of GPRS as a communication protocol, enabling seamless connectivity and real-time data exchange between smart appliances and centralized control systems.
