Liver cancer represents the most common neoplasm in the liver. Among the
different existing subtypes of hepatocellular carcinoma, the
fibrolamellar variant represents less than 5% of liver carcinomas. We
present the case of a 25-year-old male with fibrolamellar
hepatocarcinoma managed with left hepatectomy with a pathological report
of negative margins, but with recurrence within the right hepatic duct.
