A 23 year old otherwise well male, underwent a right ureteropyeloscopy,
retrograde pyelogram laser lithotripsy and stent exchange for stone
clearance. The procedure was uncomplicated. The patient developed right
lower quadrant pain following stent removal. CT examination showed an
incidental finding of contrast opacification of the appendix.
