Ogilvie's syndrome is a clinical condition that mimics all feature of
large bowel obstruction, but with no mechanical cause. If untreated, the
condition has a high mortality rate due to rupture and ischaemic
perforation of the bowel. We present a case of Ogilvie's post-caesarean
section and emphasis the correct management.
