Abstract
The hydrodynamic connection and vertical movement of water between
aquifers in the south-east of the East European Platform to a depth of
up to six kilometers through halogen deposits with a capacity of up to a
kilometer have been investigated. Pressure points in aquifers in depth
in an undisturbed state are located on the line of normal hydrostatic
pressure. Deviations from it indicate a man-made impact on groundwater.
The actual pressure in aquifers is determined by the height of the water
column above the measuring point and its weighted average volumetric
weight. The static levels of groundwater in its natural state are
determined by the level of the river draining them, exceeding it by
several meters, and have close reduced static levels. A method has been
developed for determining the filtration coefficient of rocks on cores
without preliminary mechanical processing. A method for determining the
direction and value of water flows through poorly permeable cover rocks
in gas and oil fields is proposed. The directions and values of
groundwater flows through the cover rocks of deep-lying horizons at oil
and gas fields in the Buzuluk depression of the platform are
established. In natural conditions,
