Abstract
It is widely admitted that the use of renewable energy is experiencing
significant growth throughout the entire world. With the increasing
demand for electric power, mainly for the needs of remote, desert and
mountainous regions, the photovoltaic energy systems started finding
great applications, particularly in telecommunication and water pumping
systems.
