Abstract
This case concerns 8-year-old boy who reported the chief complaints of
severe nausea, persistent sore throat and pain in the abdomen.
Laboratory investigation reveals high unconjugated serum bilirubin
levels with normal liver function enzymes. One month of oral
phenobarbital therapy showed an excellent response and lowered
hyperbilirubinemia significantly.
