Fibroids are common in women of childbearing age. Ulipristal acetate,
until recently was commonly used in the management of fibroids prior to
surgery or embolisation. We present a case of a young woman who
presented with a necrotic, prolapsing fibroid following a 12-week
treatment with ulipristal acetate.
